Hành lá và ngò rí, rửa sạch, cắt nhỏ. Đậu hũ chiên sẵn cắt lát vừa ăn.
Đun nóng chảo, đổ dầu vào, phi hành tím băm thơm, cho đậu hũ vào đảo nhẹ tay để đậu không bị nát. Tiếp theo nêm vào chảo 2 muỗng cà phê nước mắm, 1/2 muỗng cà phê hạt nêm, 1/2 muỗng cà phê muối, đảo đều.
Sau đó cho giá vào xào nhanh tay lửa lớn, nếu muốn ăn giá vẫn còn giòn thì xào tầm 3-4 phút, đảo đều, nêm nếm lại tùy theo khẩu vị của bạn, tắt bếp. Rắc hành lá, ngò rí và tiêu, đảo đều.
Múc giá xào đậu hũ ra đĩa dùng làm món xào ăn với cơm.
