Cá hấp củ sen là một món ăn rất bổ dưỡng phù hợp các bữa ăn hàng ngày, đặc biệt với người già và trẻ em vì trong củ sen và cá có chứa rất nhiều vi chất dinh dưỡng.
Cá làm sạch, khía đều khắp thân, ướp với 1/2 muỗng cà phê muối, bột ngọt, hạt nêm, rượu trắng, gừng thái sợi, hành tím băm, tiêu cho bớt tanh.
Xếp cá lên đĩa, xung quanh đặt củ sen. Rắc hạt câu kỷ tử lên trên, thêm vài lát ớt và cho vào nồi hấp. Đợi khoảng 15 phút, mở nắp, xếp bông cải xanh vào.
Tùy vào độ lớn của con cá mà thời gian hấp khoảng 30-40 phút. Khi bày lên bàn, nhớ trang trí thêm rau mùi, rắc hạt tiêu cho thơm.
